You can add meta data to the text file created/edited with LibreOffice Writer, using Writer itself. You can add your name and your organisation name by selecting <u>Tools -> Options</u>  (image 1). You can add file title, subject and keywords by selecting <u>File -> Properties</u>  (image 2). You can add the license of your document in the Comments section. In addition, you should provide this information at the beginning of your document itself, to make it easily visible to the reader.
