The moderator can create breakout rooms for small group discussions. This is useful to increase participation and interactivity and reduce monologue / participation by few in the class.
In the settings button above the user list is the function to 'Create Breakout rooms'
Clicking this provides a form to create the rooms. Number of rooms, break out time can be specified. Moderator can allot participants to different rooms or have this 'randomly assigned'
Once the 'create' link is clicked, BBB creates the rooms. Moderator can join each room by clicking on the 'Join room'. Each room can be accessed through its own URL
