Inserting pivot table from the existing data sheet:

# Position the cursor within a range of cells containing values, row and column headings.

# Inserting pivot: select the desired rows and click on  Insert → Pivot Table option,you will get the select source wizard,then click on current selection.

# Choose Insert - Pivot Table - Create. The Select Source dialog appears. Choose Current selection and confirm with OK. The table headings are shown as

buttons in the Pivot Table dialog.
